The neighbourhood of Intendente has witnessed a growing interest in recent years, almost certainly because of its cheap property and rental prices. Where some might consider Intendente as ‘a little rough around the edges’, others might consider it to be one of the hippest neighbourhoods in Lisbon right now.

Intendente doesn’t ooze the same glamour as other neighbourhoods like Chiado or Bairro Alto. However, the place is full of life none-the-less. Skaters and street performers turn the neighbourhood into a playground and the energy is infectious.
